Just a short drive past the McMichael Canadian Collection, on a tree-lined main street of art and antique shops, you will discover - Chartreuse Restaurant in Kleinburg. Chartreuse is a quaint country house that was transformed years ago into two romantic dining rooms, with linen tablecloths, lace curtains, fresh roses and light classical music.
The menu offers regional dishes and classical cuisine featuring fresh fish, aged top-quality steaks with a selection of up to ten different fresh vegetables. Our restaurant is unique where upstairs we are Country Dining and downstairs we have The Longchamp Pub. Only 30 minutes from Toronto, 15 minutes from Pearson International Airport.

ABSOLUTELY - this is a +++ restaurant! The servers are experienced, friendly and so friendly without being 'around too much'. Have tried everything from steaks, lamb, duck, seafood, salads and of course desserts - everything is so delicious! The rooms are quaint and comfortable, the music is kept in the background. Such a history to the building and the restaurant. You must visit when you are in Kleinburg. (No time for a fancy meal...check out the Longchamps Pub downstairs!!)

Chartreuse has been in Kleinburg for quite a while and we've been lucky to have it! Food is great, service is wonderful. I highly recommend it!
