To make a short story long... The year was 1985. It was a magical time when hair defied gravity, neon spandex defied explanation, and pizza came in one of two choices: tasty or cheap. But that would soon change.
In September, we swung our door open for the first time and introduced Albertans to our dream of delivering great value on top-notch food. Like Cabbage Patch Kids, our unique melange of palate-pleasing pizzas at pocketbook-protecting prices caught on fast. Almost over night - give or take 24 months - 17 new Pizza 73 outlets popped up in Edmonton and Calgary.

Since I was first introduced to this distributor 3 years ago, I've never been able to eat their pizza without getting food poisoning. Their chicken bites are fine, breadsticks OK, but the pizza rots out my guts and leaves me sick for days. Confirmed as Ecoli virus taken by unhygienic food by the family doctor.

If you are looking for a cheap pizza, but only an ok taste then Pizza 73 is the place to go. The 2 for 1 is great for those who have limited budgets as well as the meal deals, but the taste will not wow you. I do find the restaurant closest to me has a habit of mixing up orders and shorting you on sauces that you order and pay for. If you are looking for a pizza to blow you away, then this is definitely not the place to order from. But it is perfect like I said for those on a limited budget or short on time as they do delivery quickly.

Depending on what you order, Pizza 73 is ok. I have had a few bad experiences with drivers and my pizza being on the top of the box (I've called and complained). Overall, if you want ok pizza for a decent price this is the restaurant you want to order from.

The pizza is okay. If you are a REAL pizza fan this place just won't do . The prices are right, and it reflects in the quality. Barely any toppings and just thrown together. I will say I have known a lot of people get food poisoning from this place.

This pizza place has some pretty good deals most of the time. Their pick up specials good prices. As for the taste itself, it is ok pizza, not bad, but not great either. I have had a few issues with things being ordered and not delivered or it being wrong. Overall, it is a decent pizza place.

We really actually like the location that is close to our house. The food is always hot and fresh and love the options that you have with the second pizza or wings etc... Good price too! and I really like that our previous order is in their computer because we always order the same thing and it save those extra seconds. I do have to say that different locations have different quality but ours is great!!
