Summerlicious 2017: Top Rated Restaurants For Each Cuisine

Subscribe to our blog and follow us on Facebook for more tips.

Today marks the start of Summerlicious, one of Toronto’s favourite culinary celebrations. It features more than 200 restaurants across the city, offering three-course prix fixe menus for lunch or dinner – and runs from today until July 23rd.

Some of the most popular high-end restaurants take part in Summerlicious, so taking advantage of the prix fixe menu could save you a few bucks. For example, a three-course dinner at Canoe (one of Toronto’s top-rated restaurants) will run you no cheaper than $65 a person, so the $48 three course dinner option is a no brainer.

We’ve assembled the top-rated restaurants partaking in Summerlicious for a number of different cuisines, hopefully catering to at least one of your tastes:

Auberge Du Pommier$28 Lunch | $48 Dinner

It’s on the top of everyone’s list for French cuisine and rightfully so. Known for its service, the direct translation of the restaurant is “Apple Tree Hotel,” and the concierge at the front completes the hotel vibe.

Lee$48 Dinner Only

Having a restaurant named after Susur Lee speaks for itself. The famed chef’s restaurant features Asian and French inspired plates, with a contemporary twist. Book well in advance for this one.

Pan on the Danforth$18 Lunch | $28 Dinner

You can’t go wrong with Greek in Greektown. Pan adds a little flair with belly dancers and live music on Thursdays.

Pukka$38 Dinner Only

With its contemporary twist on Indian, Pukka is the perfect Toronto spot if you’re looking to expand your palette.

Bar Buca$18 Lunch | $28 Dinner

Just like Greek in Greektown, you also can’t go wrong with Italian in King West. Buca offers a more upscale Italian cuisine for an excellent Summerlicious price.

Katana on Bay$23 Lunch | $38 Dinner

Katana offers a variety of contemporary foods to suit your needs, but are most famous for the sushi. The sake cheesecake is an intriguing dessert option.

Los Colibris$23 Lunch | $38 Dinner

If you’re into Mexican food because you love tacos and burritos, Los Colibris might not be the right place for you. It’s serving up authentic, upscale Mexican food in its massive dining room.

Middle Eastern

Tabülè$18 Lunch | $28 Dinner

Tabülè is one of the most popular spots for Lebanese fare. We picked it particularly because of its great vegan options.

Bangkok Garden$18 Lunch | $28 Dinner

Accredited with the Thai Select Premium designation by the Thai Consulate for food authenticity and service, Bangkok Garden is as authentic as Thai food gets. The place itself is big and beautifully decorated.

Summerlicious is bigger and better than ever, and the options we presented are only a few of the high-rated restaurants available. Take advantage of the great deals and book a spot to your liking!
