#110-846 20th Street, New Westminster, BC, V3M 4X1
I consider myself a 'hands on' chiropractor which means I don't use any 'gadgets or gimmicks' to examine and treat patients. I use a wide range of techniques from passive release, trigger point release, deep tissue percussive massage, drop piece assisted adjustment and a variety of contemporary spinal manipulative techniques. Your first visit to the office involves information gathering through an interview to review your particular condition. This is followed by a comprehensive examination which may include observation of gait and posture, evaluation of your body's ability to move freely, special testing to assess the condition and integrity of your nerves, muscles and joints, and palpation of your areas of concern. Palpation means using one's hands to examine the body either in motion or at rest. The second visit is when we will discuss any problems or potential problems found and what can be done to correct them. This is when we decide together on what your individualized care plan will be to achieve your expectations and goals. The risks and benefits of chiropractic care will be explained as well as any alternatives then, only with your consent an adjustment may be given. Follow up visits are usually required to monitor your progress and make changes to your care plan as needed. Contact us today!
