Who is Fairy Tale Girls Headbands? We are a company that makes handmade, unique, high fashion, one-of-a-kind headbands, hair clips and hair ties. We also specialize in Special Occasion Headpieces for Baptisms, Baby Photos, School Pictures, Weddings and Skating, Dance uniform matching headpieces! Why did I start this business? 24 years ago I would buy store bought headbands for my baby daughter. They were manufactured and were duplicated. I didn’t even think to try and make handmade Headbands at that time. Now after selling our Fudge at markets and venues, we sell a lot to young kids. Many young girls are wearing manufactured Headbands and very few with handmade ones. So from that, it inspired me to think outside the box and let my creative side create. What need did I see? Its important for the kids to know that products are not just bought in the store, but that someone has personally spent time making each individual piece. There is becoming a high demand for handmade, local products. Starting a new local business only improves the area. When consumers buy local, the support stays in the community. Why would a girl want these, and/or why would parents gift these to their daughters? Girls love to pretend that they are a princess, the more bling the better. Girls of every age would appreciate and be attracted to the headbands uniqueness. The headbands are retro, fancy, unique, creative, one-of-a-kind that would not only be appealing to the young girls but also to the person that is purchasing it for them. Unique headbands that Glow-in-the-dark, sparkle, colored tye dye, and have sayings. Headbands emphasize individuality, they are one of a kind! If the child is in a dance group, skating, or any extracurricular that involves dressing up, a custom headband can be made to match their outfit. And the creator and designer is the person that they would be buying it from, I know all about the product. I also do a fudge business and play in a band, does this new undertaking make me crazy busy, how do I manage it? The Winter months are down time for selling the fudge, so all my spare time is spent creating and making all the headbands. Almost like an artist at their isle, I don’t really know what I’m creating until I start, then I find it hard to stop for the day lol. Its just another creative side that I’m enjoying besides playing my saxophone and guitar. Customers perspective? Pictures do not do the headbands justice; they are amazing seen in person. The young girls smile when they cannot choose what headband they want to pick because they like them all, that in itself is indescribable to me, makes me happy!
