Are you struggling with addiction? Do you know someone that is? What Is Addiction? Addiction is a condition that results when a person ingests a substance (alcohol, cocaine, heroin, meth etc..) that can be pleasurable but the continued use of which becomes compulsive and interferes with ordinary life responsibilities. Work or relationships, even health are affected by substance abuse. Users may not be aware that their behavior is out of control and causing problems for themselves, family and others. It is important to recognize that addiction is not a search for pleasure, and has nothing to do with one’s morality or strength of character. Experts debate whether addiction is a “disease” or a true mental illness or whether drug dependence and addiction mean the same thing. Such debates are not likely to be resolved soon. But the lack of resolution does not preclude effective treatment. Path To Freedom 90 Day Treatment Program We offer a comprehensive 90 day treatment program. With daily activities that are centered on recovery and learning how to stay recovered. The option for extended care is available and after care is our goal. We do not want you to just come to treatment, we want you to find recovery. Build a support team that can help you through daily struggles and ensure that sobriety is your ultimate goal.

Luke 15 House ministers to men with addictions - often with multiple addictions. Inspired by God's unconditional love, we help our residents heal from the wounds of their past and help them re-construct their lives. We help them find meaning and purpose through self disclosure, awareness and positive re-enforcement. Our alumni today have branched out into various walks of life. Some have started their own businesses; some work in the trades; some have gone back to school to improve their employability; and many have gone to work in the fields of addiction, where they can give back to those struggling in the clutches of darkness. Addictions and crime - homelessness and poverty is the vicious cycle that plagues almost one in five households directly or indirectly in our city. We need to create a greater and more urgent awareness of the magnitude of the problem our children are being introduced to as early as middle school. We also want to raise the level of awareness of the integral part that Luke 15 House plays in providing a solution to the problem as well as working at prevention of the problem. Luke 15 House is overseen by a board of directors, the Executive Director Nigel Vincent, staff, alumni and volunteers. For further information, please contact us.
