The Design Studio Inc. is a family-owned business operating out of a creative studio on High Street S.E., in McKenzieTowne, offering a “one stop shop” for interior design and, with spring around the corner, it also provides complete landscape design, planting plans and construction. Janet Farnham is the principal owner behind The Design Studio Inc. With her 20-plus years of experience she has assembled a design “team” offering a pleasant and stress-free experience
while clients enjoy the benefits of dealing with some of the most skilled and reputable professionals in the industry. Janet’s services include space planning, selection of furnishings, finishes and materials, colour co-ordination and accessorizing. She also deals directly with some of the world’s leading manufacturers of fine furnishing and accessories to provide clients with distinctive, cutting-edge furnishings, many unavailable to retail stores. Stephanie Coyston brings to The Design Studio, seven years of cabinetry design, specializing in custom kitchens, bathrooms and custom cabinetry. She has designed more than 100 kitchens and bathrooms, and works with the industry’s leading software providing clients 3D drawings of what can be created. Rob Farnham co-ordinates the management of each project to ensure minimal disruption to the homeowner during the construction process. With a complete road map of the project from the beginning, procurement of products and long-term trade partners, the actual renovation is made as short as possible. Rob also manages the Hunter Douglas window covering component.
