Charlie Sims has successfully completed his 3 year apprenticeship in the UK, gaining awards and merits, in the art of Brick laying and Stone Masonry, gained in City and Guilds of the London Institute, Level 1 in Advanced Construction and Diploma in Stone Masonry. Also serving an additional 2 years completing courses in following: Quantity Surveying, Estimating and Blue Print Reading. Thereafter setting up in business with his father Brian, building up a very successful business with 13 employees. With reputable contracts with 4 local Authorities, Courage, Whitbread and Wethered Breweries, Arthur Cooper, Threshers and Unwins, Beer and Liquor stores, Prudential Insurance and a host of others. After leaving England and moving to Ontario, Charlie built up a very successful Masonry Company, serving property management companies, 1 being Melchior Property Management, the largest in Ontario, an authorized sub-contractor for Base Borden Army Base and Simcoe Block, 1 of the Largest manufacture of concrete block in Ontario, also a building material suppliers company and finally, but not least, an authorized contractor for OHWP, Ontario Home Warranty Programme, Thereafter moving onto Victoria, B.C, where once again, has built up a reputable and very successful family business, serving some very high level customers and will strive and continue to do so. Adrian Sims finished High School in June 2000 , Adrian travelled back to his home country of England and successfully completed his 3 year brick laying apprenticeship. Gaining awards and merits, in the art of bricklaying and stone masonry, gained in the city and guilds of the London institute. Adrian returned to Canada in 2003 and has completed numerous projects involving brick, stone, rock, concrete, paving and tile.
