Description
Sometimes despite our best efforts, we can't make sense of what's happening to us. We can't understand our own actions and behaviours, our feelings are too painful to bear alone, and we're trapped in repetitive, unconscious patterns of relating that harm us and others. Establishing a relationship with me can change all of that. Listening with compassion and without judgment, I can help you to make sense of your experience. And making sense of your past and present will lead to a joyful and lasting transformation of your sense of self, your relationships, and all facets of your life.
With over 8 years of experience, I offer psychotherapy to individuals with a range of issues including depression, grief, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem and deep questions of faith and spirituality. As a former lawyer with experience in family law, I am familiar with the painful stresses that accompany the transitions of separation and divorce.
I offer therapy to couples struggling with intimacy and distance, sex and money, children and in-laws, infidelity and other ruptures to the relationship. Working together we learn to understand how the problematic patterns of relating have functioned to protect each partner, in order to transform them into new and more healthy patterns of connection.
