Vesa Peltonen considers his art career a rewarding one, having dedicated his artistic expertise in varied art fields, always an artist/designer, from a television art director, ad agency illustrator to a University art and art history educator.
Since 1984, he's taught most education institutions as Lakehead University for Visual Arts, often being Distance Education courses out of the city in N.W. Ontario towns. He also taught art and other courses in First Nation schools. Born in Finland, he's enjoyed Thunder Bay, Ontario, most of his life, as well as Toronto and Winnipeg. Peltonen is presently semi-retired from teaching to explore his art direction further, as in Internationally invited solo art exhibitions well into 2017. He's researching to author his 2nd book and travel more after choosing which various art exhibitions he'd prefer globally. He has planned to be an 'artist-in-residence' in S. France next year. Freelancing in computer design for two companies is much on his own choices, with no quota, which he does with Vida & Co. [San Francisco] to do original designs for their casual fashion wear.
