The Beginning Riya started as a passion of our Chairman / President Mr. George M John Alias Thampy, in early 1980 with a very humble beginning in Mumbai, India. Primarily serving the needs of an ever growing Indian labor force with a hunger looking for greener pastures in to the, then perceived “Eldorado” Middle-East. His relentless strife to exceed beyond his own expectations and the drive to be amongst the top players in the Travel Industry was un rivaled and ever present in his aura to over achieve. Thanks to our chairman and his aura to over achieve, today Riya is one of the greatest success stories in the corporate world in India as the number one travel company with over two billion US dollars in gross annual revenue. We are influenced by the stunning response from the people of United States that makes us able to serve Canadian people with our First office at Winnipeg in Canada. Riya travel & Tours Inc. (USA) is an IATAN / ARC / ASTA / BBB accredited Travel Agency servicing Corporate and Leisure markets since its inception. Riya is a retailer with secured wholesale contracts for most airlines represented in USA and offers a wide range of professional and personalized services such as airline ticketing & reservations, hotel reservations, customized and ready-made holiday & tour packages, cruises, coach & train travel arrangements, airport transfers and other travel related areas. Our focus goal is to pursue innovation while adapting to changes through constant improvement of services, based on a proactive approach to meet the requirements of our valued customers. Riya expanded its operations by establishing its first North American location in Dallas, TX, United States in 2009. and ever since has grown the American operations to; Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey, Houston, Atlanta in USA and Winnipeg in Canada. We take pride in the warm and friendly service extended to our customers and the excellent relationship built-up with all airlines and vendors represented in entire North America. Whilst the atmosphere is homely and relaxed, our motto is “Service with a Smile”.
