Market Mall Eye Clinic - Calgary, AB

I went to the Market Mall eye clinic for a eye exam for the first time in March 2018 with Dr. Rieck. I asked about the price difference between a eye exam without contact lens prescription and was made to feel embarrassed for doing so. I was then told that they did not have a contact lens case that I could use to take out my contacts for the exam. After my exam, I was told that I needed to come back for a follow up (I could only receive my prescription at this time) as well as a dilation booked as a separate appointment. (I think Dr. Rieck is paid per appointment). Dr. Rieck tried to sell me on the most expensive contacts and then when I asked if i could have my contact lens prescription (which I paid for) they printed me off the prescription for eyeglasses. I did not realize it wasn't for contacts until I got home and had to go back. They were reluctant to print it out for me, i think because I was not ordering contacts through them. I would not recommend going here!
