Established in 1994 in Campbell River, Fusilli Grill is a small, Italian / West Coast influenced, outwardly unassuming 56 seat dining room, which proudly conforms to dining room standards established decades ago. Breads, desserts and pasta are made on a daily basis. Salad dressings, reductions, mother stocks, and final sauces are all crafted on premise.
The restaurant employs a staff of 18 energetic and talented food service people, including ticketed Chefs, Apprentices, ticketed FoodSafe handlers, and accredited Serving It Right Servers. Training is accomplished through the thorough use of intensive training manuals and software. It is locally owned by Chef David Prevost, and uses Vancouver Island & Campbell River suppliers and trades people. Chef David also uses seasonal organic herbs and berries from his own gardens & greenhouse. Food allergies, dislikes and dietary concerns can be exactingly addressed, because nearly all food is made on premise, from a changing list of over 500 ingredients. Corporate monthly accounts, gift certificates, specific dietary concerns and surveillance are all easily dealt with from an integrated modern software and hardware system, freeing staff and management to look after you, the customer. Catering is offered for weddings, company promotions, and other special occasions. Catering can be done at the location of your choosing, or exclusive dining room use, can be arranged. If you are a discerning diner, this is a casual dining room with higher than normal standards.
