Mitzi's Sister

Parkdale’s Mitzi’s Sister is one of my favourite spots to have brunch. I always have a hard time deciding between the super-filling oatmeal pancakes or the equally delicious French toast, which always comes topped with fruit. True, the restaurant’s décor isn’t anything special, but the servers are friendly and the place always has a happy energy about it. And Mitzi’s isn’t just for brunch; the place is open until last call and its spacious backyard patio is a great place to grab a reasonably priced drink and some particularity delicious nachos on a nice summer evening. Mitzi’s Sister often hosts bands later on in the evening but unfortunately, the acoustics of Mitzi’s aren’t really suited to loud music. Because of that, I recommend you check this place before the band starts (or stay on the patio).
