Cosimo's Salon Inc

I went to Cosimo once, when I first moved here. They did give me a pretty great haircut, but many things went wrong. As long as you are aware of these things and are ok with them (and can afford them, especially), then go in. First, I washed my hair before going in, which I usually do to save time and money. They firmly insisted on rewashing my hair, using expensive products, even though I said I didn't want it. They gave me the reason that cheap products leave residue in hair. Ok. When I told the hairdresser what I wanted, he told me right off the bat that he was going to do something else. I got a bit uncomfortable, but it was too late. I asked for layers and he gave me an undercut. I had to wait over a year for the undercut to grow back, at the exasperation of every other hairdresser I went to afterwards. In the end, the hair ended up looking pretty good, but NOT what I had asked for at all. What if I hadn't liked it? Finally, they charged 86$ (plus tip) (wash, cut, style). I'm a student. I cried.
