Stoneboats Restaurant

Stoneboats restaurant has a patio for the casual, a bar and a dining room. A 2006 fire forced a lengthy closure, but the owners brought the place back to life, new and improved.A breadbasket arrived with two kinds of fresh bread and butter at room temperature. Beer was available only in bottles. Wine by the glass or bottles. All reasonably priced. The shared Caesar salad, served in two half portions was crispy and lightly dressed. For mains, the striploin steak was done perfectly, accompanied by roast potatoes and grilled vegetables. Grilled shrimp and scallops on a bed of rice and grilled vegetables were full of flavour
