Mr Volvo Plus

I took my sons 2001 Volvo to Mr. Volvo for a hesitation problem. They called and said it required plugs. coils and wiring. I authorized the repair. They called and said it was ready for pick up. I paid the $658. by credit card over the phone. One hour later they called and said it needs between $1,900 to $2,200 further repair for engine seals from an obvious oil leak. I asked why this was not determined by way of a visual inspection prior to me spending the initial $658. No suitable answer was provided other than to say they did not do the initial visual inspection. They showed no interest in coming to some agreement to resolve this other than their offer to remove the installed plugs, coils and wires at my own expense. Save yourself some grief and expense. There are reputable repair shops in Calgary. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM. Piece meal work and horrible attitude from the owner.
