Chicago Chophouse

Chicago Chophouse is a fabulous steak house in downtown Calgary. Located in the heart of the city the restaurant is great for the business crowd during the day and the classy party crowd in the evening. The ambience is amazing with live music and comfortable seating in the downstairs and a quieter more private upper level. The food is fantastic. The steaks are high quality and extremely well cooked to order. The Black and blue is delicious, one of the best steaks that I've had. The sides are chosen after the mains and are sharing size. The mashed potatoes are great. The desserts are amazing including the fondue for two which is a fun, romantic option for dates. The drink menu has a lot of options. The servers are able to offer knowledgable suggestions to pair wines with your meal. The Chicago Chophouse is a great restaurant for any size party. They also throw a New Year's Eve party that is perfect for those more interested in a wonderful meal and a low key party crowd.
