Rip off artists!!! Quoted someone over $5k to certify (not including body work for minor rust when there must be a hole in the body in order for it to fail the safety). We changed the parts ourselves, we saved over 60% off what they quoted just for parts ( including one part that they quoted 10 times what EVERY parts place charges). We took it to another garage and showed them the parts we changed, not one of them would have failed the safety ( after saving over $4500 on just what Hayden's quoted, we decided to pay for the labour, 3 hours, to properly inspect them) if it was done at that garage, or the DOT garage on Keele st. In Toronto. Unfortunately, the safety certification process allows for mechanic's discretion. So if they don't like you, they can demand any repairs they want to certify, even if the ONLY part Keele St. would fail your vehicle for was bad wiper blades. They also have no respect for your time. They'll PROMISE to fix your car on Monday, and do your 20 minute oil change 3 weeks later.
