After having Labelle Engineering draw up the plans for our house we built we thought it would be a good idea to have the same company draw up the plans for our attached garage. We hired Labelle again and had the plans drawn up. The plans were way over the industry standard for a garage. We ordered the rebar and started to build but had several other builders and inspectors tell us that the engineering plans were way over done and that it was going to be very expensive if we continued with the plans drawn up. So we decided to contact Labelle Engineering regarding the plans to ask if they could be changed to reflect what we had originally asked for (an attached garage plan for a non commercial garage). We were told that based on the contract the services were provided. There for we were out the $1,700.00 and had to go elsewhere for new plans.
