GERBER GARY COUNSELLING ASSOCIATES

Gary does not have much experience dealing with sex addiction. He also seems forgetful as he asked me the same question more than once during the same session. Then he asked if he could contact my wife to ask for more information and to see how she was doing with the distress of my addiction. He arranged to have my wife come in the following day for an appointment. Most of the time spent was asking my wife about her sexual background and when the session was over, Gary told my wife he was billing her for an hour and 15 minutes!!! We ended up giving this guy $405.00 for 2 hours and 15 minutes of wasting our time. I had even asked him to give me something I could do to help me right away but he didn't have anything useful for either myself or my wife. We both decided he wouldn't be a good therapist for us. We emailed Gary to let him know our concerns, asked for a refund for half ($200.00) and offered him some suggestions to make his practice better. He declined our request and wished us luck!! 0 Stars!
