Vancouver is a plethora of sushi places... most either bad or mediocre at best. Kaide breaks that tradition. There is nothing cooked here except miso soup and gyoza so don't go looking for tempura and teriyaki. What you will find is great sushi. Tom (the chef) makes awesome seasonal rolls like mango salmon, and has an amazing {expletive} tuna sashimi. His version of a dynamite roll is fantastic, cornflakes and prawn, all of the crunch of tempura, with much less fat! Sigh... I'm hungry....
