Mitzie's Restaurant

After not having eaten here in years, I came back to Mitzie's this past weekend. This place is very underrated for its food. The decor hasn't changed since the 1980s, and they still serve a mix of Chinese and Western dishes. But the restaurant has evolved its menu over time. They have added soup noodles to their repertoire. You order on it a sheet of paper they give you where you check off your choice of soup base and noodles, 2 toppings and choice of drink, all for $7.95. The noodles and soup are fantastic, and they give you a very large bowl of noodles and more toppings than other noodle places. Also recommended is the lunch specials, which range are around $8 and come with a drink. Ordered some fried "Burmese" noodles, which turned out more like a spicy chow mein, but the portions were huge, maybe only ate 1/3 of it and had to pack the rest. It's a great deal for what you pay for, and will come back again to try some more.
