Flying Tiger the

The Flying Tiger is a sister restaurant to Hell's Kitchen further east on W 4th. While I like Hell's Kitchen, Flying Tiger has it beat. I love the ambience in this place! It's very small - basically a long sling-shot of a restaurant - but it doesn't "feel" small, if that makes sense. It feels upper class without being snobby. The decor is simple but classy. I love sitting at the bar or on the tiny patio in the summer and they open the whole front wall up when the weather is nice. I've only had food there once, but it was great. The drinks are always mixed well and they have a great wine selection. (Try the drinks mixed with plum wine, which I have yet to find at any other establishment.) I go to Flying Tiger every couple of months (I'd go more often if I lived closer) and would really recommend it. It's a great place for a date!
