Check out some local ice cream spots in your area faster on the new and improved 411.ca
It’s officially summer – and what better way to celebrate this glorious season in the city than with ice cream? In fact, the ice cream hype has started right here in our office at 411.ca. The marketing team is a group of self-proclaimed ice cream connoisseurs and had a few differences on which spot is the absolute best in the GTA, so we thought we’d share our favourites with you and let you decide!
“I love ice cream, I love cookies, and I love variety. There’s nothing quite like eating cinnamon toast ice cream sandwiched in a Captain P’nut cookie. It sells out fast, but highly recommend the bang bang cone.”
David’s role: Marketing Communications Coordinator
“Delicious, friendly staff, close to home and in a nice neighbourhood. All with a fair price tag.”
Michael’s role: Bilingual Marketing Coordinator
“The best soft serve ice cream and a massive selection of sundaes. My personal fave is the chocolate peanut butter sundae.”
Anastasia’s role: Communications Coordinator
“Ridiculous amount of ice cream combinations and massive portions.”
Daniel’s role: Product Manager
“I rarely eat ice cream, but when I do, I prefer it comes to me.”
Phil’s role: Product Manager
“It’s nowhere near Toronto, but it’s great. Really any place that sells Kawartha Dairy because it’s the best. Moose Tracks is ma fave.”
Lisa’s role: Graphic Designer
“The gelato is good quality and they have a great variety. Plus it’s local and we support local business!”
Mia’s role: daughter to Sandi, our very own VP of Marketing
So, there you have it. Our favourite ice cream spots in the GTA (for the most part). We hope our picks and lofty reasoning for each has enticed you enough to go out and give these spots a try. Whatever you choose to do, get outside, enjoy ice cream and enjoy the summer.
